Budget 41-50k ITX Build Help - Haswell vs Skylake

Hi Folks,

I am looking to replace my aging six year old laptop with a Mini ITX desktop.
I had originally intended to build a Skylake machine around a i5-6500 thinking it would keep me current and at the top of the tech wave. However, I am unable to find a suitable B150 ITX motherboard.

Intel i5 6500 3.2 GHz ₹16,050.00
G.SKILL Ripjaws 2x8GB 2400 Mhz ₹6,100.00
Gigabyte GA-Z170N-WIFI ITX ₹14,000.00
Antec ISK 300-150 150 W ₹6,990.00
Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB ₹7,164.00
MS Windows 10 Home - ₹7,999.00
Total ₹ 58303

So I have decided to build my computer around the Haswell i5-4460.

Intel i5 4460 3.2 GHz ₹13,975.00
G.SKILL Ripjaws X 1600 Mhz ₹6,800.00
MSI B85I MITX ₹4,500.00
Antec ISK 300-150 150W ₹7,000.00
Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB ₹7,164.00
MS Windows 10 Home - ₹7,999.00
Total ₹47,438.00

Does this look good? Or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

I would stick with the skylake for the better GPU, considering the small confines of the case and limited power available, skylake would be cooler and less power hungry.

any reason why B150?

Asrock has good H170 chipset based motherboards, H170M-ITX AC or H170M-ITX DL. (around 9k - 10 K at prime abgb)
if you are very particular about B150 then asus B150I PRO GAMING/WIFI/AURA (around 11.5K)

no point with z170 as the processor you are choosing is locked.

Thank you very much for your reply Parix.

I did not find the ASRock ITX board when I last checked the PrimeABGB site. Now, I shall definitely consider it.

Does the rest of the build look OK to you?

Savings of Rs.6000/- by using Windows 10 OEM Key

Also 150Watts is not enough....at idle you should be looking to consume around 80 - 90Watts so you will have a problem at full load.
look for at least a 250Watts

Also as @Parix said no need for a Z series board unless you are overclocking or its offering you something H series isn't.

Thanks for the Config as well, as i was planning to build a skylake ITX build myself, but i will go with another case.

Yes.. this was the same config I had in mind before I realized that I need a GPU.

Are you sure that 150w is sufficient? I don't think so...

more than enough.
Processor - 65W
mother board - 10W - 15W
leaving plenty for other HDD's and peripherals.

the OP is not planning a GPU, that seriously reduces his power requirements.

Okay.
But I doubt that. NO OFFENSE If I am buying I would opt for 250w or even 300w.
