TATA Sky Broadband FTTH 100 Mbps up/down Unlimited.

Location - Noida

TATA Sky Broadband has servers/IPs only in Mumbai at the moment. So though I live in Noida but I get my public IP location at Mumbai.

Approx monthly Rs. 950/- including taxes. I am using this connection from October 2019, 1-2 minor downtimes for maybe about 1-2 minutes. Overall I am pretty happy with the ISP.

How is the ACT service now in Chennai ? are they prompt with recovery/services?
Downtime rarely happens. Once service call is logged they attend to it in couple of hours time. For the past couple of years I would have had a downtime of 2 to 3 hours maximum. Their speed is consistent and they do not throttle torrents.

Hello guys

Starting this thread to discuss status internet service in india..

1. Post your internet speed screen shot or text..
Company name
Mobthly price
Limited or unlimited
FUP limit
Location
Other benefit

So that we can all know if we can change idp, ask to provide service, etc etc.

My advice:
Don't opt for Railwire. Anything below 50% international speeds of your connection, is uselss. What's the benefit of having a 100Mbps plan when your speeds are that of a 20Mbps connection ? Raised several tickets on the portal but no response. Tweeted on Twitter, still no resolution. I believe mobile networks have better international speeds than my Fiber connection.
Does the ISP expect us to watch/stream YouTube videos in 4K on several devices? I don't see any other use of this.
Also, it is very unreliable. The number of disruption I have faced in one month is much more than I have ever, even on mobile data.
