We all know that today's mainstream and high-end systems need a good memory kit for best performance. I have not really overclocked this set of memory here.. but I have spent hours testing it at various speeds and timings, hope you all can enjoy going thourgh the rest of the article.

I am all for performance numbers. So lets get over test setup quickly.
Test Setup :
Intel 975x ES @ 3325 (133X25)
X58A-UD3R Rev 2.0 (FB Bios)
Kingston KHX2000C9 6GB Kit
GIGABYTE 5870 SOC
Seagate 250GB 7200.10
Antec TPQ 1200
Dell 24" E248WFP
I manually selected 133BClk as Default would 134.6 or so. While testing RAM at its default speed I enabled XMP profiles. Running at 1000MHz (DDR speed 2000) meant bclk would get bumped to 143 resulting in CPU Frequency of 3575Mhz.
Testing Methodology :
I ran Super Pi v1.5 (32M), Everest Memory Benchmark and PCMark Vantage with Memories Suit and Productivity Suit to understand the impact of the RAM @ various speed and timings.
To check how RAM affects games I ran STALKER Call of Pripyat Benchmark with Ultra Preset with Enhanced Full Dynamic Lighting (DX11) @ 1680 * 1050 Resolution.
The Speeds and timings I ran :
1333 @ 6-6-6-20 [1.50v]
1600 @ 6-7-6-20 [1.58v]
1866 [XMP] 9-10-9-27 [1.65v]
2000 [XMP] 9-10-9-27 [1.65v]
The Results.
Super Pi :
1333 @ 6-6-6-20

1600 @ 6-7-6-20

XMP1 1866 @ 9-10-9-27

XMP2 2000 @ 9-10-9-27 [3575Mhz]
PCMark Vantage
PCMark Vantage is a PC benchmark suite designed for Windows Vista offering one-click simplicity for casual users and detailed, professional grade testing for industry, press and enthusiasts.

XMP1 1866 @ 9-10-9-27

XMP2 2000 @ 9-10-9-27
My Opinion
We live in time where anyone just can't ignore a good set of memory if you want absolute performance from your PC. Which leads me to say, I think the Kingston HyperX 2000C9 6GB kit is a good kit. It does what it says with ease, I did not spend time in pushing and testing memory beyond its specification, but then again with 9-10-9 timings many of you already know its tough to get anything decent out of it. Me being an enthusiast, would have loved the tighter timings (7-8-7-24 Or 8-8-8-24) for the approx price of INR 16500/- (I will update price once I have it from Kingston).
I did try to tighten the timing and I could manage Super Pi and Everest Mem Benchmark at 1866 (7-8-7-24) with 1.62v. PcMark Vantage kept failing even with 1.65-1.68v.
