Laptop Cooling Pad - Low Noise, Under 1.5k

Hey guys,

I am planning to buy a Laptop Cooling Pad for my Sony VAIO CW 26 (15 inch) which heats up under heavy load. I'm looking for the following features (in order of preference):

1. Good cooling performance

2. Silent/Low Noise operation

3. Cost: 1.5k Max (Extra USB ports, adjustable fan speeds and angles don't interest me much)

4. Comfortable lap use

5. Portable

I am considering the Belkin F5L055 and CoolerMaster Thermal Master C1.

Any suggestions on these or any other recommendations are welcome.

I have the Belkin cooler,

It's good points are :

1. Portable.

2. Can be used on lap with fan switched off.

3. Quality is pretty good.

4. Rubber Grips provided on and below the cooler are really good, it provides good isolation from vibrations and grips to the table nicely.

Cons:

1. Fan has a life of 1 year(max.) after which it starts making a lot of noise(fan's sleeves wear out or becomes loose thereby touching the fan guard).

2. Needs to be cleaned and oiled once every 3 months so that it makes less noise.

People choose the Belkin cooler because of it's price and portability allowing you to use it on your lap.
