Laptops laptop cooling pad

i have got m1330.. need a cooling pad..

hoz belkin? if anyone has used?

how much noise does its fan make?

I know its usb powered.. may be i can use it with charging on.. or is there other good alternatives?

I use a Cooler Master NotePal Infinite (Website Link) I am satisfied with its performance and it is very effective in cooling my LG P1 PRO Express Dual... It is USB powered, has 3 fan speeds... It has an aluminum mesh on top to dissipate heat better...

i have used belkin cooling pad. its quite good. brings the temperature down by 10-20 degree c. while in mumbai's warm climate it was fine. but in december end in New Delhi its fan gave some noise while starting. it stabilised after few times attaching and detaching from the usb port. reminded me of a FIAT padmini starting up in winter. Guess the fan of the cooling pad will be under pressure in cold weather :S

hmm belkin seems fine.. is it safe to purchase from Theitdepot - India's First Online IT Store? wanna get it in delhi.. its 1850/- plus shipping..

fan noise is the main concerned.. after pad ergonomics n heat dissipation..

Well on the lowest speed it's pretty quite, at medium it's audible, at high its clearly audible... but u'll get used to it in a while :bleh:

Also considering the fact that at high it is at 2000 rpm it is bound to make some noise... but it's the typical hum of a fan which is bearable according to me... Rest u can read reviews online... Here's one for you

All i do is Jack up my VAIO on bottle caps, and keep the laptop within the range of the ceiling fan, seems OK to me.

I saw a laptop cooling lit for 400bux at a local stationery, it employed a similar jacking mechanism to what I do

Does Belking really make a difference, can it be termed optional ?

hey guys.. i got the belkin cooling pad n returned it cos it was scratched many places..

but luckily i could use it for an hour n found it makes much more noise than my xps m1330..

noise is a big no in my music studio.. wat is the alternative to this.. ???

is the rpm setting option in cooler master can solve my purpose.. i can set it to the lowest..
