Seems like it was never meant to integrate at all. FK just pushed LB out of the race.

When the take over was done, it was apparent -why- would they let the brand live. Just normal business practice. Why blame FK here.

I think FK bought Letsbuy in a hurry, so that Amazon could not buy LB. Now that amazon is acting different, they will kill LB. Seems like costly mistake on FK's side.

I believe it was more of a decision by the angel investors and not FK's decision, the investors basically wanted to consolidate their companies so they can invest better on one brand.
Between FK and LB, it was clear that FK would persist and LB would be absorbed within FK.

This might well be the case. If LB was backed up by Amazon's amazing CC, then things could have gone wrong for FK. Most of the items on LB anyway were priced lower than FK. And with occasional coupons, LB gave much better end pricing. .
