LG Optimus G Pro With 5" Full HD Display Goes Official

LG Optimus G Pro is now official, Japanese carrier NTT DOCOMO will be launching it in April as a part of its Spring lineup.







The Optimus G Pro joins the 5" fullHD smartphones league with its 1920x1080 resolution screen. It will be powered by 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 2GB of RAM. It will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

It will have a 13MP shooter on the back and a 2.4MP front camera. It will have 32GB internal storage and microSDXC card slot for expansion. It will have 3000mAh battery.

LG has already sold over 1 million units of Optimus G and next flagship should help the company compete better against upcoming handsets like Xperia Z, HTC Butterfly and the rumored HTC M7 and Galaxy S IV.

Global availability details about the Optimus G Pro are yet to be known. It could be announced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress.
