Follow this sequence ...

Standby Mode (i.e power button on remote to switch TV OFF) - Info - Menu - Mute - Standby (to switch it back ON in service mode)

Hope it helps :)

I got my TV yesterday. Tried this sequence over and over again but didn't succeed. Now I came back to this post and tried again. Still no luck.

Finally I tried the sequence very rapidly and it worked.

It says Panel on time = 00003

It was used sporadically last night and a little bit this afternoon.

Thanks to thexfactor for the tip. repping you.

ive been trying the methods for entering service mode on my lg flatron m2262d but to no avail can someone clarify if these methods work on this model if not is there another method of getting into service mode please

thankyou

can i program a sky+ remote control to work as the service remote??

I have a 32LF20FR, made in Sept 2009.
Tried all the mentioned key combinations, but still unable
to get into the service menu. I tried OK(TV)+OK(Remote),
Menu (TV) + Menu (Remote) etc.

There is no "info" button on this remote.
I read somewhere that one may need to try with a
LIRC transmitter to get the In-Service menu.
Has anyone managed to get into the menu on LF20 series?

the utt on my 32LG80FR was 9k plus after 4 years of usage and the reason i say was coz i hit the factory setting option and it reset the utt to 0 and also it took me to the setup of the tv and asked store mode or home use so i guess if the store people are smart they can reset the tv and sell...
