What size and weight considerations do you have? (e.g. Do you want a 17" desktop replacement or you want an ultraportable 12" or something in between)
14" would be nice. 15.6" looks bigger.
Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? (e.g some would prefer to stay away from Acer or Dell)
trying to stick to known brands. No RDP, IBall, Micromax please.
Any other considerations? (e.g Battery life; Widescreen/non-widescreen; Glossy/Matte screen etc.)
2/3 hours of battery. HD would suffice I suppose, FHD in 14" wouldn't make much diff IMO.
Requirement :
A decent CPU, 4+gigs of RAM, 14" screen, portable with 2/3 hours of juice.
I will add a SSD. I don't need TBs of space.

- HP 245 G5 Notebook - almost ticks all the boxes. But I am not sure about the CPU - A6.
- Refurbished Dell Latitude - 6gigs, 256gb ssd - sounds quite good. 8/9% coupons are available.
- Some samsung laptop in OLX - i5/6gb/15.6"/2.5hr backup - for 18K.
- Asus-X540YA-XO106D-15.6 - this one got some quite good reviews.
Anybody got any other suggestion/option ?
