Looking to buy a cheap router supporting ddwrt, usb and torrent for ~5k

Hey,
I am looking to buy a wifi router for my college room (100 sq feet). I want it to run as a streaming server and download torrents 24x7. Therefore, I am looking for ddwrt and usb support.
My budget is upto 5k (can stretch a bit).

What would be a good router for me?

It will get internet connection by LAN. DD - WRT is a linux distribution for routers with tons of cool features.

have been using the WDR3600 with DDWRT since past 2-3 yrs or so. never gave any problem. range is very good (and i use the 2.4GHz band alone). have placed it centrally in home at height. also, i have read people giving very good feedback to TP-Link's service.

I think I will go with the WDR 3600. Archer C5 is cheaper, better, but only V1 supports ddwrt, V2 does not and I don't want to take the risk.

I live in Rishikesh. I finally bought an asus ac 51 u for 3000 from flipkart. It works well.

ddwrt is not updating at the same pace as openwrt, and tomato is sturdier.
