Selling this 2009 Macbook Pro. The laptop has seen some wear and tear as is evident from the pictures. Also, please note,

1. The speakers are not working, have spoken to a technician who says they need to be cleaned and could start working again. The audio port works fine.
2. The superdrive does not work.

Beyond this, the macbook is in good working condition. The keyboard and touchpad are both in excellent condition and the charger was bought sometime in the last 2-3 years for 6500 rupees. It currently runs OSX 10.9.4.

The RAM can be upgraded to 8 GB max and costs about 2500. The hard drive can be replaced for an SSD which costs around 5000 for 120 GB.

Prefer local buyers only.

To anyone who is buying this and plans to install an SSD, please ensure you read up on the issues. This specific model has issues due to either an EFI issue and/or a SATA link issue.

We have 3 of these MBPs in our office, and we replaced the HDD with a 7200 rpm Hitachi 1TB plus upgraded the RAM to 8GB ~ 2years back, post which it is working great. Now 2 of them have upgraded to the 2017 MBP Pro.

Thank you for adding this info. I was not aware of the SSD issues, I had just spoken to a technician who said it can be done.

Just helping out. We would be converting these into eventually into macOS servers, as they have no other use at this time. We need 1-2 for OSX/AD integration.
