Messed up my LG Optimus P500. Need advice.

Very recently I managed to root the phone and I was on the lookout for installing different ROMS. Post rooting I installed 4 apps, Superuser, Titanium Backup, ROM Manager and Ad remover and just installed the LG bloatware.

Just wanted to see how the recovery console looked like and I holded the volume up, home & power button while booting. After an android logo splash screen the phone reverted back into the factory reset settings. All of my apps, home screen, call logs, contact details, everything gone.

Thankfully I had a back-up of contacts, but then again what did I do wrong, is there any way of reverting to the original state?

dont know about the P500 but IINM, there is nothing much that you can do in this scenario.
Juts restore your contacts from the backup and reinstall the apps.

But what exactly happened? Any Idea? I was seriously thinking about switching over to CM7, but after this episode confidence level has dropped.

Use Titanium Backup to Backup and Restore Apps dude..

If you have already done a back up,then restore
