Hi All,
Need to get a new monitor for my desktop setup.
Current monitor: 10 year old : Samsung 732N Plus (buttons are dead, display color hues keep changing, ports are loose and stand has a growing crack which makes it unstable). I need to dispose it off and replace it with a new monitor.

1. Budget?
10k preferably; can stretch until 13-15k

2. Display type and size?
1080p. 21" - 24" (max)
Screen shouldn't be too shiny/reflective. Matt finish preferred.
I've a 5 year old AMD Radeon 7800, 4GB RAM & AMD FX 6300 processor.
The monitor shouldnt be an overkill for the above setup.

3. What will the TV/monitor be used for primarily?
70% : Watching/streaming movies, videos, TV shows,
20% : surfing the internet,
5% : creating & printing documents/presentations
5% : gaming

4. Types and number of ports required?
HDMI is a must.

5. Preferred choice of brand?
None, in particular.

6. Any TV/monitor in consideration?
None as yet. Will edit this post as and when I find options.

7. Any other info that you want to share.
I have a medium sized printer and two speakers sharing the desk space with the monitor so I most probably won't be able to go for a 24" but if the deal is too good to miss then I can look at moving around the speakers/printer to make room.
