Graphic Cards Monitor shows Check Signal Cable when I use Turn off the display option

Hi,

I've got a strange issue. In Windows power options, I've set the option to "Turn off the display" every 5 minutes. The only issue is that when this happens, my monitor doesn't goes to that power saving stage, instead, it displays that "Check signal cable" message.

My monitor is working fine, with no problem at all. Its just that when Windows turns off the display, it should go to that power saving mode, but instead shows me that message.

Any thoughts?

Its working perfectly fine. Most monitors show this message for 1-2 minutes and then go on standby.

Found the problem. Actually when i plugged out the monitor cable, there are some pins bend and not straight. I just set them straight and it works great.

Good you found the issue - because AFAIK, it will show no display/power saving and go blank. The check signal cable thing should not come on, except when you remove the cable.
