Moto X Force (shatterproof smartphone) launched at Rs 49,999/-

Moto X Force launched in India at a starting price of Rs 49,999 for 32GB version while the 64GB variant will set you back by Rs 53,999. The Moto X Force smartphone sale starts from February 8. The smartphone will be available from Amazon, Flipkart, Croma and Spice stores.

The Moto X Force is the world’s first smartphone to feature a shatterproof display. On the specs side, the Moto X Force is basically a supercharged version of Moto X Style which was launched last year.
The Moto X Force features a 5.4-inch WQHD display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor. The device features 3GB RAM and comes in 32 or 64GB storage variants. The Moto X Force retains the 21MP and 5MP camera seen on Moto X Style and Moto X Play earlier. The Moto X Force runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and adds interesting features like approach to display, attentive display, twist for camera capture and double karate chop for torch. The grey colour variant will feature ballistic nylon back.

It will come in black, grey and white colour variants.

The Moto X Force was launched as Droid Turbo 2 exclusively on Verizon in US. The smartphone has seen its share of drop test videos on YouTube and surprisingly, its display stayed very much intact.

With Moto X Force, Motorola is back in the league of Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge+, Google Nexus 6P and Apple iPhone 6s.

LOLipop. Hey Motorola/Lenovo its 2016!

In the league of what? Most expensive phones? :D

Needless to say this one is only for the die-hard Moto fans...with lots of cash.

With the recent Price Drop, I believe this is currently the best Flagship in Android phones (37.9k for 64 GB version). Close to what the Nexus 6P offers !

Doubt it will sell much at anything more than 29.9k. Motorola is associated with low-mid range phones in india and most would go for apple/samsung/sony in this price range. It is also not even waterproof like other motos and does not have a premium feel to it.

^^ Agreed! But then, they're really not accessible to 99% of the people. It's like you have to compromise in one way or another. You want durability, forget about looks. You say you want both, forget about your budget! :p
