What is your budget?
  • 35-45K. Can spend up to 45k but want to keep it as low as possible probably 35 to 40k, enough to get the job done.
What is your existing hardware configuration (component name - component brand and model)
  • I have a acer laptop
Which hardware will you be keeping (component name - component brand and model)
  • none
Which hardware component are you looking to buy (component name). If you have already decided on a configuration then please mention the (component brand and model) as well, this will help us in fine tuning your requirement.
  • Total rig
Is this going to be your final configuration or you would be adding/upgrading a component in near future. If yes then please mention when and which component
  • I might upgrade the ram and the graphic card later on.
Where will you buy this hardware? (Online/City/TE Dealer)
  • Local dealer. Would prefer buying the entire system from a single dealer for easier RMA.
Would you consider buying a second hand hardware from the TE market
  • no.
What is your intended use for this PC/hardware
  • Video and photo Editing. I intend to use is very rigorously.

Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them and the reason for your preference/dislike.
  • No brand loyalty. But looking for a reliable manufacturer with good after sales service. Specially for things like mobo and PSU care more about reliability than cost.
If you will be playing games then which type of games will you be playing?
  • mainly 1st person shooter. I obviously would dive in the new good rated FPS.
  1. What is your preferred monitor resolution for gaming and normal usage
  2. the higher resolution the better. but I do understand I cant have everything in this world.
Are you looking to overclock?
  • Maybe. i am not ruling out the possibility.
Which operating system do you intend to use with this configuration?
  • Windows 64 bit

Cuda cores and their performance and efficiency are architecture dependent. Suggesting to get a maxwell card over the new pascal architecture because the former has more cuda core is not really correct afaik. Even though 1050 ti has less cuda corse it is still a little bit faster than the 960.

edited into my 1st post of this thread...
change the processor from i5 6500 to i5 6402p will cost 13.5k

and

change gtx1050ti to gtx1050 will cost 10k OR if you can find gtx950 for 10-11k then u can get that also .......

add 3k to the money saved from above and get a 1080p 21inch lg ips monitor.

i would strongly suggest u to spend a bit more if you can.

Better get Zotac GTX1050 Ti 4GB OC @ 13.5k

You can get quotes from Swetha Computers, Arun Computers, PL Computers and go with who ever gives the cheapest price or best prices.

u are buying for video editing right so buy nvidia graphics card because of cuda cores support.

check prices on these sites .....

1) mdcomputers.in
2) primeabgb.com
3) itdepot.com
4) golchhait.com

but if you live in Hyderabad then i guess prices in offline stores will be much better.
