Need advice regarding AC advice.

I am in search of a new AC for my house and the market full choices has made me totally confused.
Please advice me which to buy.

Requirements:

Room Size: 14' x 18' (252 Sqft)
Budget: ₹ 50,000
Capacity: 1.5 - 2 tonnes
usage: summers with 8 - 9 hours a day (ambient temps are around 35-40 C here)
Inverter ac if that is in budget and really worth it.
5 star rating if non inverter.

Brand preference: Mitsubishi > Hitachi > O General > Others
(if other brands have better quality then no brand preference)

Also if I go for centralized cooling, is it any beneficial?

You need at least 2 tonnes and Inverter AC's are definitely worth the premium paid for them.
Centralized cooling for 1 room ? You may go for 2.5 tonn VRF unit.
All brand suggested by you are good, you may add Daikin to the list.

From Mitsubishi or O general.
Centralized cooling for 4 rooms is required with total area of about 1000 SqFt.
 
If you want Centralized cooling solution for 1000 sqft, you can contact Daikin or Mitsubishi or Blustar to provide you VRF solution best suited to your home. It will be cost effective as well. Check Daikin Website.
 
So which Air Conditioner would you be suggesting to me for my needs. Room sizes are about 250+ SqFt and I want something which is bang for bucks. If 3 star or 4 star is more vfm than a 5 star then I will go for that.
Bread preference would be General.
Which company provides best service?
I had contacted Daikin for VRV and that costs way too much for my needs.

Not installed yet. It will be installed in may first week, right now room renovation going on.

I registered installation request at Carrier two days ago, but no call from them. Still waiting for that.

Flipkart also arranges installation via third party service called Jeeves and they have quoted 1800rs + 600rs/m copper pipe (for extra).
