Hi Everyone,

I am relatively new here, however i have noticed a very active and helpful crowd. Hence wanted to get your inputs in finalizing a Gaming rig within a budget of 60k.

Below is a tentative build i have come up with, however still need to finalize - Best alternatives for CPU Cooler, Cabinet & GFX Card; while also figuring out if there are better alternatives to this build that are more value for money. Lastly would also like to know about best possible options for buying the parts in Mumbai.

GFX card Option#1 - Zotac GeForce GTX1060 3GB (mini)
GFX card Option#2 - MSI GeForce GTX 1060 3GT OC

Won't you need extra 1/2 tb hdd in the build?
Might want to replace the psu for seasonic s12g 550 GOLD /620(bronze).
Also on what target resolution and accepted quality settings you want to play games?

Highlighting some deals for you

Bro for ram ,
You can get Crucial Ballistix 4gb 2400mhz for 1700 from ebay.in
Do a search for it on eBay.in,nothing can beat crucial.

For power supply ,Seasonic is light years better,
1 in 10,000 seasonic PSUs fail within 5 years, the figure is 1 in 500 for corsair

Circle is crap,go for corsair cabinet, don't even look ar it ,trust me,u will regret from day 1

Also for SSD's look at eBay.in
You can get 480gb intel for SSD for 7k

CPU Cooler Option#3 - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Intel CPU Cooler
this is enough for cooling.

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 8GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) Intel Z170 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-2400C15S-8GVR

GFX card Option#2 - MSI GeForce GTX 1060 3GT OC\
i like MSI

Cabinet Option #2- Corsair CC-9011050-WW Carbide Series SPEC-01 Steel Red LED Mid-Tower Gaming Case (Black)
corsair quality is good

Thanks for your feedback.
I should have mentioned this, but I have an existing 1tb HDD that I plan to add to the build.
Would 550/620 be sufficient for the build? Any idea on the costing for it?

Does crucuial honor their warranty? It's been a while since I upgraded my rig and didn't hear about it earlier. Also would eBay be a good option for buying parts? Or should I consider sites like Amazon and Iatwares?

I'll look into Seasonic for PSU.. any specific models in mind?

You read my mind with Circle.. I liked the looks of the cabinet but was worried about quality.

With SSD again I am worried about buying anything from eBay.. aren't there issues wid quality and warranty when u buy from there?
Also, considering I already have a 1TB HDD.. I wanted to stick wid 250gb.. if I can save enough for spending 7k I might consider an m.2

For Gfx card.. which is the best Variant in terms of quality, compatibility wid the mobo and honouring warranty?

Since OP mentioned Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400Mhz 8GB DDR4, the following ain't a bad deal (after coupon discount) considering manufacturer's warranty:

Yup, 550w will be more than sufficient, since the recommended psu is atleast 400w for 1060, anything above it will work for you.
What is your budget for gpu, I personally feel that MSI gaming edition for 1060 are overpriced and it comes to personal preference that if you are into rgb lighting and cool backplates.
Though I have read that backplates prevent dust accumulation in back and the gaming edition has good cooling, but for 1-2k more you can get an RX 480. (MSI gamingX 3G is priced around 21k).
If you want something simple, then zotac and evga both have single fan editions without anything fancy and will easily fit budget

Warranty might be a issue with crucial, they have a almost spotless track record tho.

eBay SSD haven't failed me in 2 years, buy with confidence

Seasonic s12ii,kills corsair

All great inputs friends. I am working towards finalizing a build.
Lastly, could anyone help confirm if APC BX600C-IN 600VA, 230V Back UPS would be a good choice to to support this machine? or should i go for a stronger/lighter version?

When you are already building a great setup, and budget is not a constraint, then I would suggest to go for the 1100VA one..
I used to have a zebronics 600VA ups, it used to die every 6 months.. Switched to 1100VA one, only 1 problem in past 3 years.. The problem was also handled swiftly by the APC service..

What PSU have you finalized ? You would need UPS with capacity atleast equals to PSU capacity / 0.6. The one which you have chosen would support 600VA*0.6 = 360W. As suggested above get higher capacity according to your PSU. Brands you can check are APC and CyberPower.

Based on the inputs i received here and from other sources, i though of sticking with VS650 itself. In which case if i understand, i should be going for a 1100 VA Ups as (1100VA*0.6=660W). However considering that would mean a price jump of min. Rs. 3000. So i want to reconfirm if 650W is ideal, or if i should settle for something lighter?

the corsair vs line is not that good especially if you plan to overclock anything. i'd recommend the seasonic s12 520w.
650w is overkill (i estimate your total system power draw topping out at 350-400w).
a good 500-550w psu will do fine while still allowing you to overclock your gpu as much as possible.
if you're going for the gtx 1060 then get the 6gb version. it's not just a difference in vram. the core count is higher too.
avoid circle, zebronics, intex etc. the difference in build quality is massive against ones from corsair, cooler master, antec etc.
