Need Help - Redirect ad Pop-ups of MMM India

Hi,
I have been facing this issue for a few days now. Whenever I click on a link in Firefox, a pop-up - an ad redirect of MMM India opens up. It is also happening on Chrome on my Nexus 10. I already ran scans with Windows Anti-Malware tooland Malwarebytes but to no avail. Also didn't find any good info online. If you search for it on Google, every article speaks of installing SpyHunter which looks very fishy to me, as if the articles are planted.

Anyone else who has faced this issue or anyone who can throw more light on this, please reply as I am completely flummoxed as whether this is serious or not.

Actually, I messaged @rdst_1 since I wanted to first ask some questions before I could pinpoint the issue.

Firstly, is there a proxy setting enabled - if yes, disable it. Secondly, is DNS set to auto - if yes, make it manual and point to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and check. Apart from this - would need to get more in depth.
