Need, suggestion for Modem+Router for BSNL Broadband connection

Hi Guys,

I am going to get BSNL Broadband connection. They have asked me to buy the Wifi Router.

1. I need to get a modem+Router, correct?
2. Can you suggest a Good Modem+Router for BSNL..

Dlink DSL 2750U is a good choice. Else the TPlink w8968.

However, do check with bsnl if they are going to provide you the modem. In that case, just a wireless router would suffice.

Not that tp link model. They are not selling what they claim on the box.
Model V3 and V4 are nothing but a scam.

On W8968 V3, left antenna is fake. Once disconnected, signal strength drops to zero. (Source: personal experience).

@magesh85 , you are better off with 2750U.

How does the TP Link W8960 compare with the W8968? TP link advertises that the former has 2 x 5dBi detachable antennas. Even I am looking at an alternative to the 2750U, because mine has developed some annoying problems. After a powercut, very often, the router will just be on (power on light is illuminated) but no DSL link or wireless network at all. I have to manually power off the device, and then switch on the power after a couple of minutes. Then it will work normally (not all the time, though).

@vyral_143 Well, it seems even BSNL wont be able to provide a steady internet connection to my home.. so thanks guys for the suggestion but its just information for me.
