Just change CPU & Mother Board (from AMD) and see downpour of suggestions....

I have never assembled an AMD system so i do not have much idea / knowledge about it.
Can you give me a AMD configuration.i have also heard that not all RAM workd properly with ryzen so there is another issue.

I assume your current budget excludes your future upgrade plan for GPU.

2600X, a suitable B450 based mobo, mentioned RAM will set you back by about 40K-ish.

For PSU, Seasonic S12 II 620W would be about 7K. M12 II which is completely modular costs 600-800 more than S12 II. Price for this was cheaper offline in Mumbai.

How about not spending for CPU cooler at the moment and getting it when you need OC in future - again assuming you are not going to require OC from day 1.

Yes, my budget excludes the GPU price.
Yes, i will not be overclocking form day 1.

Thankyou for your input.

For PSU i was thinking corsair TX650M -- about 7500 and it is 80+ gold certified semi -modular with 7 years warranty
Or
CORSAIR CX SERIES CX650M 650W --- about 6500 and it is 80 + bronze certified semi-modular with 5 years warranty.
or
Cooler Master MWE GOLD 650W -- about 7000 and it is 80+ gold certified fully -modular with 5 years warranty.

any thoughts on these power supplies?

I have finalized the cabinet: - coolermaster MB510L @ 4300

I have been using the CX650M in my headless file server which runs for 10-12 hrs every day for the past 3 months and I would say go for it.

It can supply power for the RTX2080 class cards as well.

The TX650M would be better for Gold certification but I would say put that 1k elsewhere. I have been using Corsair PSUs for a long time (VX650 for 7 years, RM850X in may main rig for 1 year) and they never gave me any issues.
P.S. Once I got used to the modularity of the RM850X I couldn't go back to non-modular PSUs any more and the CX650M is the cheapest semi-modular Corsair PSU.[DOUBLEPOST=1547632654][/DOUBLEPOST]One other thing. Intel is grossly overpriced due to 10 nm issues but the Ryzen CPUs without a G suffix (e.g. 2200G/200GE etc.) don't have an iGPU.

Thankyou for your input.i play games very rarely ( like once or twice a month).
So,at the moment i am looking for a no GPU or a low cost GPU( like a GT710 or some secondhand cheap one) so i can spend more on processor+RAM+MOBO and get the best one.
I will upgrade the GPU after few months.
Also, i have finalized these two items:-

1.Cabinet :- CoolerMaster Masterbox MB510L -- @ 4300 approx or corsair carbise 100R @ 3000
2. Powersupply:- Corsair CX650M or coolermaster MWE 650 fully modular 80+gold @ 6900 approx.

Also, i would like to go for 2x8GB RAMs like corsair 3000 Mhz @ 4900 each or similar.
i don't want to spend for RGB RAM. i will choose performance over looks.

Considering all these, what would you suggest?

Thats a better idea. Also @bssunilreddy suggested a MSI B450I which is a min-ITX board.

Pick up the MSI B450M Gaming Plus which is the same board in mATX format but its cheaper (mITX stuff is always more expensive). I am looking at this board to upgrade my mini-iTX file server to a Athlon 200GE/B450I build.

Now comes the fun part. Keeping in mind Ryzen Infinity Fabric architecture really loves fast dual channel RAM and is a bit nitpicky please check the memory QVL against the memory model.
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B450I-GAMING-PLUS-AC#support-mem-14

This was a major headache for me when I upgraded to Ryzen 1700 last year and had to spend the most time I have ever spent on a PC build to scour the web for compatible 3200 MHz RAM kits.
AFAIK Corsair doesn't have the best compatibility since they almost always use cheaper SK Hynix dies and not Samsung B-dies in their memory kits. On top of that they have multiple versions of the same SKU which is problematic to check against memory QVL.

About Motherboard Service .. my experience is very bad with Intel & Gigabyte.

Intel provided other model that too REFURBISHED & mismatch I/O Plate (and refuse to send matching I/O plate)

Gigabyte try to set DUAL BOOT issue but they failed & my friend lost faith in Gigabyte.

Asus Plastic Part (HDD Cable Port on Board) just came out along with Cable with little MORE pressure.

MSI build is Solid, just bought by my friend (after Gigabyte issue) and happy with MSI Build / QUALITY & LOOK.

it varies from person to person.
My experience with a MSI Z87-GD65 was pretty bad and I avoid MSI since then. Although the problem is not the companies but the Indian asses who provide ASS with their typical Indian scammer mentality.

Majority of them will agree that experience with gigabyte is a bliss followed by asrock. Asus was pathetic in old days but they have improved a hell lot. Intel is good too but very few people opt for it unless they are in tight vfm situations.
Msi was good earlier when Asus suffered a lot dont know later on what went wrong with then though their mobos are solid.

I have a quick question.
Will the x470 and B450 mobos support ryzen 3000 ?
AMD promised to support the AM4 platform up to and including 2020 so all 300 and 400 series AM4 boards should be compatible with 3rd and 4th generation CPUs. However some newer features (e.g. XFR3 is supported on 400 series but non on 300 series mobos) might not work and you'll most definitely need to update BIOS before putting in a Zen 2 chip later on.
