Mass Effect 3, the epic space adventure game which features Shepard saving Earth in the final of the trilogy, now has a new DLC which will expand the story. The original game was released earlier this year in March and it was a big success for EA, even holding one of the best overall reviews for the year. The game currently holds a very respectable 89% Metacritic rating for the PC version.

In this DLC, which will be the largest in game length DLC released so far will feature the mass Effect 3 character, Aria T'loak, trying to retake Omega from the hands of Cerberus. This will be the third DLC released for the game which adds something to the story (this is excluding the DLC's which only add weapons), after From Ashes and Extended Cut, which extended the ending game cinematics.

The news of the brand new incoming DLC was announced by the Bioware Blog here and it states that :

"Soldiers of the Milky Way,

Disturbing reports from the Citadel suggest that something big is about to go down. If our Intel is accurate, Aria is on the move. This was anticipated, as we did not expect her to sit idly by while Cerberus ran roughshod over Omega. With her biotic capabilities and well-documented mean streak, what happens next won’t be pretty.

Our informants believe that Aria intends to seek out Commander Shepard for assistance. We are aware of the Commander’s ties to Aria, but are unclear about how deep they run. What we do know is that Aria will be relentless in her fight to take back Omega, and with the Commander at her side, she may very well be unstoppable.

We will be observing this situation closely as it develops. Continue to monitor this channel for further communication."

The DLC will be made available on the 27th of November and it will be avilable on all three Platforms (PC, X360 and PS3). It will sell for $15 on PC (Should be around the Rs. 599 mark on EA Origin) and for 1200 MS points or 1200 Bioware points. This will also be the costliest DLC released so far for the game, and judging by the high standards Bioware have, it will be good.
