Camera new point and shoot

hey I am on a very limited budget of 6k +- 300 and I need a camera with great image quality and good performance .video quality doesn't really matter .

Pretty much all the camera in this range are equally good. Just make sure the camera does have some kinda mechanical image stabilization.

I am thinking of ixus 155 is it any good or there is a better one than this

Yes, you can go for that. It does have OIS. Check online for sample images and see if the IQ is good enough for you.
