AMD AthlonII X3 440 ~ 3.4k

Asus M4A78LT-M LE ~ 2.6k

4GB Kingston DDR3 1333MHz ~ 2k

Sapphire HD5670 512MB GDDR5 ~ 4.4k

Total: ~12.4k

Else you can wait for the AMD Llano's(July release. So approx ~3 months) as they have HD HD55xx/56xx class GPU integrated in them :)

These are 5% VAT inclusive prices and the store is in Mumbai. You can also see shipping prices in the links. But if Pune has Octroi you would have to add that to that too. A good Antec 350w should be good enough for this config :)

Alternate option is,

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5800 ~ 3.2k

MSI HD5770 1GB GDDR5 ~ 6.8k (Wait for users to confirm that the card works fine with the PCI-E 1.0 slot. I guess the P35 has only 1.0 standard)

Corsair CX400 ~ 2.5k

But as i said if waiting is a possibility then wait till July.

Thanks for this quick reply! :D

As i mentioned earlier " I got answer that there is no such 5670 512MB DDR5 version"(In 2-3 major shops in pune)

so if i take this- Sapphire HD5670 1GB GDDR5 , will it run on same antec psu?

It will but the performance difference will be just ~1-2% at best. As i said the dealers are lying or misinformed since they dont have stock. If there is no 512MB version then how come dealers in Mumbai are selling them?

512 Doesn't exist ? Hmmm, some people are still living in their stone aged caves :|

The Pentium DC + 5770 seems like an awesome bit of hardware, better than than the 5670 based config, since you'll be looking only at gaming.

I have finalized my configuration now.:D

AMD AthlonII X3 440
Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-US2H
4GB Kingston DDR3 1333MHz
Sapphire HD5670 512MB GDDR5
Corsair VX550

Now i need final thoughts on this.
Initially i forgot that I'll get money back after selling old parts, so I can extend my budget.
I just want to know that whether this config will serve me well(in gaming n all HD stuff) for at least 2-3 years?
Thanks in advance.:)

this is not a wise update, for now only update your PSU,GPU

Corsair CX400 \ VX450 ~2.4k \ 3.4k

HD 5770 ~7.5k (6.8k at smc R5770-PMD1G --Rs 6800)

I am using a e4500 on a biostar 945gc motherboard and have a msi 5770.It handles all the games at 1080p resolution.so if gaming is your main aim,i suggest you go for a 5770+cx400/vx450 combo.5770+e4500 would be much better than 5670+X3.

Hi again!!
As per the suggestion,I waited till AMD Llano release. But as per initial reviews, they are just OK. :(

I was confirming on AMD Athlon II X4 995 BE+Compatible Mobo, but now after reading some recent reviews I got info that Intel I3 2100 is better than above AMD in all aspects.

Meanwhile, Now HD5770 seems to be out of production/stock:mad:.Now question is that
Is HD 6770 as good as 5770? Or should I look for GTS 450 in case of Intel procy.

My next question is should I Corsair VX450 will be sufficient or should i take 550VX?

I think I am too much confused :S. So please give me bset solution by having budget lets say ~17K

1. CPU - Intel Core i3 2100 ~ 5.3k

2. Motherboard - Gigabyte H61M-D2-B3 ~ 3.5k

3. RAM - 4GB DDR3 GSkill 1333MHz ~ 1.7k

4. GPU - Sapphire HD6770 1GB GDDR5 ~ 7.2k (Same performance as the the HD5770 as the cores are the same)

5. Seasonic S12II 430W ~ 3k or Corsair CX400 ~ 2.6k

But even the basic i3 config with a HD6770 such as above will cost you ~20k-21k

Hi.

I would like to have a final verdict on

1)AMD Phenom II X4 955BE

2)Gigabyte 880 GM USB3

3)Kingston 4 GB DDR III

4)SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6790 1 GB DDR 5

5)Corsair VX 550

Though its going to make a deeper hole in pocket, i would like to know that will it be long lasting for at least 2-3 years?

Thanks in advance

How about this instead:

AMD A6 3850 2.9GHz @ 7k
Gigabyte GA-A75M-S2V @ 5.9k
Corsair Vengeance 4GB @ 2k
FSP Saga II 500W @ 2k

Not only does this config include a GPU which is 80% of HD5670 in performance, but you can easily add a GPU like HD6570 or HD6670 later for HYBRID CFx.

I purchased these parts.. :D
1)AMD Phenom II X4 955BE
2)Gigabyte 880 GM USB3
3)Kingston 4 GB DDR III
4)SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6790 1 GB DDR 5
5)Corsair VX 550

Will post picture in show-off
