no favicons in ffox bookmarks

hi,

am using firefox 56 ... after visiting sites from bookmarks ... sites dont get visited icons ... or evenif i create a page bookmark ... how to get them ???
have even tried changing/creating a new profile ... & even tried importing bookmarks with .json & html file ...

Showing for me. Would suggest to do a complete reinstall of FF, after exporting the data.

no. he's talking of this.

See the small icon of TE? If you bookmark TE, that icon comes next to the bookmark.

Some of the sites do not have icon at all. So only the default world icon will show up in bookmarks.

I didn't know it was called Favicon.

have done re-install & new profile also but still no effect ...

if i visit a site, icon is there on the tab ... but if i open/save from bookmark it doesnt appear ...

Try different browser opera or chrome. M sute it's ff issue

its done ... problem solved ... deleted bookmarks from profile & restarted win ... imported html backup & voila its back ...
