I have a dell R210 server at home running couple of VMs. It is connected to a small APC 700VA UPS. Recently the server is restarting during voltage fluctuations. (ups battery is not down). It is a line interactive UPS.
Need suggestions from TE members for good online UPS.
Load: Dell R210 + Switch + ADSL modem + Wifi AP so less than 500W
1. Is 1kVA online UPS sufficient ?
2. APC, emerson any other good brand available in india ?

3. Most online UPS come without batteries. can i use 12V 150AH battery lying at home ? will the charging current be sufficient ?
4. Luminous and Micortek seems to be somewhat cheap. any experience with them ?
