If you have any age old machines gathering dust, instead of throwing away, throw them my way. I'll offer some decent money in return. Planning to build a DOS PC with ISA (AWE64) sound and voodoo era video card.

May I ask what is the purpose for building such a powerful system? Cloud computing? Mining? SETI@Home?
 
well, these also can be kept as antique piece. If you have a garage with space, seal them up and open after 25 years or so. These will be worth almost their original price. But thats a gamble :)

VMs never work like the real thing. The main issue is timing - old stuff either runs too fast or completely out of whack. The only thing that works remotely well is PCem but that also has issues and bugs.

Also I'm not looking to run WinXP. Looking to run DOS + Win95/98SE
