plz tell about this setup

hello guys,

My budget is 16- 17k excluding DVR card and monitor . Since i intend to buy a 4 channel dvr card for video recording in my shop i have changed the proccy and mobo. This setup is going to be used for billing and video recording at the background. So tell me if the c2d setup is required or its ok to go for the cheap x2 240 and m2n68am plus ..

core2 duo 2.9ghz ( instead of x2 240 2.8ghz )
intel dg41 rq ( instead of asus m2n68am plus )
2gb ddr2
500gb hdd
zebby cabby
lg dvd rw
FSP PSU

PC will be running from 9am - 9pm
I dont want gigabyte cuz, my experience was bad when i bought gigabyte some 3 or 4 yrs back and returned it on the same day . From that time i go for INTEL or ASUS.

Please do advice me a decent VFM DVR card also guys.
 
With the money that you are spending on C2D E 7500 & Intel G41 Combo you can get the Asus m2n68am plus and Phenom II 550 BE or 555 BE...

And both of these trump the E7500 pretty easily... All the components remaining the same, the set should cost:

Asus m2n68am plus - 2,300

AMD Phenom II X2 550/ AMD Athlon II X4 620 - 4,750 / 5,150

500 GB WD - 2,400

2 GB DDR2 - 2,600

Zebronics cheapo cabby/ CM Elite - 500/ 1,550

LG DVD RW 22x - 1,100

Corsair 400 Watts - 2,600

That's approximately - 17,000 (give or take a few hundreds) and if you go for the Athlon II x4 nothing better...

The prices are online prices so might also got somewhat cheaper from local shops...

Actually i am more concerned about the compatibility with DVR card mate. Because i will be running billing software and recording at the background. So there should not be any stutter while these operations are run concurrently. So will the athlon x4 run smoothly. However the phenom cant handle both these operations because it stutters when two operations are run at the same time. So for DVR card, if i prefer AMD setup then i should go only for the athlon x4.. Is the m2n68amplus fully compatible with this proccy ??
