TV Shack Founder to be extradicted
US authorities have reported to the court that Richard O’Dwyer has hosted links to pirated films and television Programmes in his site . UK has granted permission for his extradiction . The case was brought by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, which claims that the TVShack.net website earned more than $230,000 in ad revenue and seized the domain in june 2010. He could get a maximum of 5 years in jail if proven guilty in US. It said an individual had 14 days from the time of notification. In Mr O'Dwyer's case, that was on Monday, so the deadline for him to appeal is 26 March.

Grooveshark Fighting over the Industry
This started in November 2011 when Universal Music sued grooveshark for copyright infringement soon Sony and Warner joined in December and EMI joined the party late in January 2012.Last month entertainment companies in Denmark blocked the service at DNS level. Even though grooveshark has obtained license from the artists themselves . But this is against the traditional way of market hence the labels want to kill them.

Police have started an investigation on Piratebay . Recently news has leaked that the police are gearing up towards a raid.Now the hosting company,Binero where the pirate bay domains are registered have been asked to disclose the information about the person who registered the domains. They replied with a Whois data which is already available for everyone. Also the marketing manager Arnberg said that they wont be giving out any information unless a court order is issued.
