Apple Launches New iPad
Apple has finally unveiled its next gen iPad , instead of iPad 3 or iPad HD its called just iPad . The third generation device brings several improvements over the previous one , especially the Retina Display packing 2048x1536 pixel resolution on 9.7 inch screen . The CPU is still dual-core , but it’s the A5X now . Memory has been doubled up to 1GB from 512MB. The Rear camera has also been upgraded to 5 Megapixel and front VGA from Rear 0.7MP and VGA rear on the iPad 2. Other improvements include Bluetooth 4.0 , new battery giving similar battery life as iPad 2 . The new iPad is slightly thicker ( 9.4mm vs. 8.8mm ) and heavier ( 652 vs 601 grams ) . iPad 2 Price Dropped , Will Retail In India For 24500 Soon

Apple has cut down the price of iPad to in US with the launch of new iPad , 16GB Wifi version of iPad 2 will now cost $399 in the US and $349 for refurbished unit . The new price cut will reflect in India soon and the device will be selling for 24500 . Currently the iPad 2 16GB WiFi version retails for Rs 28499 in India. The price of new iPad for India has not been revealed so far.

Apple Increases 3G/4G download limit to 50MB
With the launch of the new iPad , Apple has bumped up the download limit over cellular network to 50 Megabytes . Previously , the download size over cell network was limited to 20 MB and larger files were needed to be downloaded over Wi-Fi . The change has been brought considering that apps created for new iPad’s Retina display could be over the 20MB limit and inaccessible via 3G/4G . The change applies to any content from App store or iTunes.
