[PN] BitTorrent Live - P2P video streaming .

BitTorrent Live

This is a new Peer-to-peer video streaming technology unveiled by Bit torrent at Music tech summit by Bram cohen , author of the protocol. This works similar to the torrent system. This means that 100Mbit upload servers are not needed to stream live. This also reduces the latency. This is a major threat to live streaming sites like livestream and Justin.tv but only if there is an index of what is streaming where. I can see private P2P streams like Private trackers also this means the content need not be stored at all the computers which means no threat of piracy. I can see endless possibilities with this technology.
