Windows Phone Smoked By Galaxy Nexus in Microsoft's Challenge
Microsoft had put a campaign called " Smoked By Windows Phone" , a $1000 challenge across its US retail stores last weekend , offering a Hunger Games Special Edition PC to winner and to loser , a chance to swap his phone their current phone for a windows phone for free .
The campaign ended up in a defeat for Windows Phone when Sahas Katta , went to his local store to put his Galaxy Nexus against Windows Phones , surprisingly winning the challenge with Android 4.0 , even in Microsoft favored tests .The test was to display weather information quickest .
After this Microsoft employees were unwilling to accept his win and made excuse that he was needed to show weather for "two different cities in two different states" to qualify as a winner .
Later on ,Microsoft's Ben Rudolph apologized Sahas Katta on twitter and offered him a new laptop and a phone .

Nokia And Microsoft Launch $24 Million App Development Center
Microsoft and Nokia today announced that they will be launching a new development center with $24 million investment , which will be based in Finland . The development center is called AppCampus and will operate under the management of Finland's Aalto University . The plan is to attract students , entrepreneurs and developers to the developement for Windows Mobile platform and also other Nokia platforms like Symbian . Appcampus will also provide funding to the development .

Nokia Belle FP2 Appears in Test Results
Recently Nokia announced that Belle devices will be getting Feature Pack 1 update with many improvements . Now there is even more good news - results on HTML5 test list has "Nokia Belle FP 2 (S60 5.5)" which hints that there could be another FP2 rollout for devices after FP1 .
The Belle FP1 update gives a big boost to the browser in terms of compatibility - it jumps from 157 (+ 7 bonus points) for vanilla Belle to 212 (+ 9 bonus points) for FP1 and higher still with FP2 - 242 (+ 9 bonus points).
For comparison, Android 2.3 scores 181+1, Android 4.0 does 256+3, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango scores very low at 141+5, while Mobile Safari on iOS 5 is king of the stock browsers with a score of 305+9.

Woman Sues Apple For $ 1 Million
Apple was sued by a 83 year old woman when she broke her nose because of glass door at an Apple Store in Long Island .
According to victim's lawyer , " There were no markings on the glass or they were inadequate. My client is an octogenarian. She sees well, but she did not see any glass. "
"Apple wants to be cool and modern and have the type of architecture that would appeal to the tech crowd, but on the other hand, they have to appreciate the danger that this high-tech modern architecture poses to some people."
The case will most likely be settled out of court ..
