Spain new Anti-Piracy law into effect
Spain is one of the countries where p2p sites operated legally but United states threatened to put spain in United states trade blacklist and made them pass the ‘Sinde Law’ which translated becomes SOPA . The bill came into effect on mar 1[sup]st[/sup] . A group of hackivists are organizing a unique protest against this law. They encouraged sites to link to a copyrighted track from the artist Eme Navarro. Navarro generally publishes his music under a Creative Commons license, he created an “all rights reserved†track specifically for the protest. Narravo reported a first batch of sites to the ministry of culture earlier.

IsoHunt replies to a case by Record Labels
In 2010, 26 major labels have files a case against isoHunt that the site is supporting and promoting copyright infringement. In response isoHunt’s Gary Fung replied that it is not isoHunt but record labels that are a major threat to internet.They are trying to restrict basic human right of sharing by shutting down file –sharing sites. He asked the Supreme Court of British Columbia to decide the balance between the constitutional rights of people communicate versus the rights of copyright industries to limit such rights in the corporate interest of protecting and extending copyright.

Microsoft Azure Down for 8 hours
Microsoft cloud platform Azure was down for 8 hours . They initially started having problems at 1:45am GMT . After starting trouble hooting they found the cause of the problem at 4am GMT.It was a leap year glitch. At 9:30 in the morning the service started to resume its normal operations
