Micromax Launches Funbook 7" ICS Tablet for 6.5K

Micromax has launched Funbook , a 7 inch tablet which runs Android 4.0 ICS .The tablet packs following features :
  • 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor
  • Mali 400 GPU supporting 1080p Video Playback
  • 512MB RAM ,4GB internal storage
  • 7" 800x480 resolution capacitive touchscreen
  • VGA front camera
  • 2800mAh battery
  • WiFi and HDMI connectivity .

The tablet also offers educational features through Micromax E-learning app which brings reading content from publishers like Pearson , Everonn , GK publishers , Scholarshub etc .

It will also come bundled with Tata Photon + . The tablet will retail for Rs 6499 across 1,00,000 retail outlets across 50 cities in India.

HCL Launches 3 Tablets With ICS Starting From 8K

HCL has launched 3 new tablets in India which will run Android 4.0 ICS OS . All three tablets pack a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen , 512MB of RAM , 4GB of internal memory ,WiFi and 0.3MP front camera .

Two of the Tabs , MyEduTab K12 and MyEduTab HE are targeted at students of schools and colleges respectively . The tablet will offer educational content like NCERT books and educational apps. The K12 version is for students from KG to 12th standard and will cost Rs 11499 along with free memory card and educational content and NCERT books will be free . The HE version is for college students and will cost Rs 9,999 which brings together world class rich multimedia content on technical and professional skills, assessments and Apps.

EVGA Offers International Warranty

EVGA has introduced new Global Warranty Policy , under which it will offer international warranty on all its products . This new warranty ensures that no matter which region you live in, you have the support that you look for when purchasing an EVGA product . This new warranty policy will be automatically applied on any products purchased on or after July 1st, 2011. Under this new warranty policy, all products will have a minimum of 3 years warranty, and registration is now optional. The warranty is fully transferable. This means that if an end user transfers ownership of an EVGA product to another end user whether via a private sale, or via a second hand online site or auction site, the remainder of the warranty period also transfers to the new owner.

EVGA Global Warranty key items :
  • 3 Year Warranty Minimum - All EVGA products will carry a minimum warranty of 3 years.
  • Warranty is now Transferable - EVGA Global Warranty will cover the product, not the user. The warranty term starts on the date of purchase if user has invoice, or manufacture date if not.
