Nokia 701 , 700 and 603 To Get FP1 ,Boost CPU Speed to 1.3GHz

Nokia has just announced Nokia 808 PureView which will run Nokia Belle with Feature Pack 1 which offers several improvements . According to latest news , Nokia Belle phones , 701 , 700 and 603 will be getting same FP1 in coming months .

With the coming update , Nokia 701 and 700 will get CPU speed boosted to 1.3GHz , making them more faster and responsive . It will also include multimedia enhancements like Dolby Headphone and Dolby Digital Plus . Along with these , FP1 will add around 20 new and improved widgets . The browser will be updates as well , faster and with HTML 5 support . Latest version of Nokia Maps , improved notifications bar and refreshed multitasking bar will also be included .

Lumia 800 Gets A Price Cut

Just after Nokia announced Lumia 900 at MWC , the price of its current flagship Lumia 800 dropped by around 20% to around Rs 23000 in India . Lumia 800 is now available at new price from various online stores like flipkart etc . The successor , Lumia 900 is expected to be launched during sometime in second quarter .

Motorola Atrix 2 Launched In India

Motorola Atrix 2 which was long awaited in India has been quietly launched . The phone is priced at Rs 22,990 and available at LetsBuy and Saholic . The phone sports powerful hardware like dual-core processor , 4.3 inch display with 960x540 resolution , 8MP rear camera with Full HD video recording and VGA front camera , 1GB RAM , 8GB internal memory , HDMI port , 3G , WIFI and powered by 1785MAh battery . The phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and ICS is scheduled for Q3 2012 .

Google's Tablet Could Be Called Play

Recently rumored Google's Tablet could be called Play , this was hinted by spree of domain registrations by Google which all included the name " Play " . Google registered the domains listed below . Other than the name , it could also indicate what Google's tablet might offer . According to leaks , the tablet will have 7" 1280x800 display , and will run Android 4.0 ICS , Though the pricing is not yet confirmed .

AMD launches Two Bulldozers , Price of FX-8120 Dropped

AMD will be launching FX-4170 and FX-6200 processors . The Quad core 4170 will have 4.2GHz base clock speed and 4.3GHz turbo . The FX-6200 is a six core model with base frequency of 3.8GHz and 4.1GHz Turbo . Both will have 125 watts of TDP . The processors are being rolled out soon but pricing is not yet revealed . Meanwhile , AMD also reduced the price of FX-8120 processor to $185 , down from $205 .

Intel Ivy Bridge Processors Details Published

Intel has published flipbook presentation containing the details of the upcoming 22nm-built Ivy Bridge processors . The processors are set to launch on April 8th along with new chipsets Z77 , Z75 , H77 and B75 for Ivy Bridge CPUs and will support current LGA 1155 CPUs as well . The Ivy Bridge processors will be backwards compatible with Intel 6 Series Z68, H67, P67 and H61 chipset based boards, with an appropriate UEFI update

For Desktop , The Intel lineup includes 17 Ivy Bridge processors . The i7 series will have HD 4000 Integrated graphics , while the i5 will use either HD 2500 or HD 4000 and both i7 and i5s will have 2 to 4 cores .For mobile platform , Intel will launch 11 models having two to four cores with HD4000 Graphics .

Apple Wins Another Injunction Against Motorola

Apple vs Motorola legal battle continues , now with Apple winning another injunction against Motorola . The patent is related to the bounce animation displayed in the photo gallery which was first used in iPhones , now being copied in Motorola phones , as well as many other touchscreen phones . Now Apple can enforce this ruling requiring motorola to destoy all offending devices in its possession in Germany and recall remaining from German retailers . If Apple does so , Motorola needs to remove the effect from photo gallery so that it doesn't violate the patent , to continue selling the devices .

Canon Announces EOS 5D MARK III

Canon has revealed the successor to its highly popular Mark II, the EOS 5D Mark III . The New 22.3 Megapixel DSLR brings several new improvements over its predecessor like better noise reduction , longer recording time , dual storage capability , new autofocus system , improved processing power etc. It will be priced at $3800 for body only and $4650 with EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM zoom lens .
