Playstation 4 to launch before the next Xbox
Sources close to VG247 have told them that the next Playstation has already been planned by Sony to release before the christmas period of 2013, which is when everyone expects Microsoft to release their Xbox 720.
The source told VG247 that Sony is confident of beating Microsoft and releasing their console first now. The Xbox 360 was already out in the US market for almost a year before Sony managed to release the PlayStation 4.
The Source said that Top publishers like Ubisoft already know about the console and it's specifications, with him going on to say that "Developers working with publishers – like Ubisoft, for example – already know what's going on. They're already working on it."
This news came after a rumour was going around in the gaming world that the next Xbox would require a constant online internet conenction, must like the older ubisoft DRM on PC games.

Assassin's Creed II is set in Colonial India, we all know that, but a future installment might be going to India. Speaking to the Official Xbox Magazine, Alex Hutchinson, the Creative director of Assassin's Creed III says
He also went on to say that the most asked setting for an Assassin's creed game are feudal Japan, World War II and Egypt, though he described these settings as "They're kind of the worst settings for an Assassin's Creed game."
I personally hope this happens! Would love to see a top class game's setting be in Medieval India.
Assassin's Creed III is out on 360, PS3, Wii U and PC on October 30.

Far Cry 3 shows off it's Multiplayer mode

Five minutes of the Far Cry 3 Multiplayer has come out, it looks great, with visuals looking great and colourful. Looks to be one of the best multiplayers of 2012. Looks neat and might be a good competitor for Black Ops 2.

Japanese retailer out Wii U's US Release date
According to a leaked memo, the Wii U will land in the US on November 19, according to a memo obtained by WiiUDaily (http://wiiudaily.com...18-2012-report/).
Sadly, the memo had nothing regarding the European release date. The original Wii released back in November of 2006. Nintendo is supposed to reveal more in Los Angeles' E3 2012.

Apple working on a controller for iOS games
It has been known thanks to Anandtech that Apple has an internal project for a physical controller in order to play iOS games better on Apple devices.
In Anandtech's iPad HD review (http://www.anandtech...-2012-review/17), Anand Lal Shimpi says that he has known that there's a project to bring an official controller to iOS systems to make Apple a more of a gaming handheld console.

German Gaming Magazine confirms Dark Souls for the PC
The German Magazine, PC Action has confirmed that Dark Souls is indeed coming for the PC.
The Cover of the Gaming Magazine's issue (http://i.imgur.com/yua1M.jpg) features the news on the Front Cover. The game is releasing in August, and will be released as "Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition". The game will feature new bosses, but except that, nothing has been known.
A PC version of this game was teased by the developers, From Software after a fan petition nearly reached 100k signatures (http://petitionburea.../DarkSoulsForPC).

EA infamously wins the "worst company in America" award
The Consumerist (http://consumerist.c...a-for-2012.html) have announced that EA is their winner of the 2012 Golden Poo award, given by them to the "worst company of america". EA won this award instead of Bank of America, taking 64.03% of the votes.
In response to this, the company representative said to Gamasutra (http://www.gamasutra...erica_label.php).
I personally do not agree with this at all, as we shouldn't forget that EA subsidizes their games for the Indian market very unlike Activision who sell their games at the same price as the US market.
