Battlefield 3 coming up with 3 new DLC's this year

battlefield-3-close-quarters.jpg

Three DLC's have been officially anounced by DICE for their game which was released this past October. All the Three DLC's will be centrally themed, and the first of the three will be called Closed Quarters and it'll be launched in June (May for PS3).

The second pack's name is Armoured Kill and it'll be focused on tanks. Dice have also said that it'll also contain the largest battlefield map to date.

Also the third DLC will be End Game, but sadly it's details are a secret and we can't know anything about it rather than do pure speculation.

Price of these DLC's haven't yet been fixed, but Back to Karkand was released on PC for Rs 599, and these will probably be similarly priced too.

According to MCV (http://www.mcvuk.com...ext-xbox/092534, the next xbox will not have an optical disc drive.

It also says that though it might not have an optical disc drive, it will have some sort of interchangeable card storage, though there's no way to know yet to know if those will be proprietory cards like Sony's Vita system or an old school forat like SD cards.

Previous speculations have all said that the next xbox might have a tablet controller, will not run used games, or cost as much as $500.

By the way, It seems like i have a new rumour about the next xbox in my article every week now!

A new Tech demo released to EuroGamer, which can be viewed above was released by Quantic Dream.

The very impressive Tech Demo by the Heavy rain developers shows how well the engine is performing even on the PS3 now, which is 5 years old now.

Cage said "We had thought we had done a pretty decent job on Heavy Rain, and we just realized we didn't do anything with the hardware. We could do much more than that, and this is what we intend to do in the near future. There's still a lot to do with the PlayStation 3 I'm telling you."

When asking about their relationship with Sony, he said "We are exclusive to Sony right now, We're open to all options [such as becoming a first-party studio], but again, we're not a studio driven by money. It's an important element, of course, but it's not like 'Tell me how much money you give me and I'm going to do whatever you want."

Valve estimated worth at $3bn, Gabe Newell $1.5bn

GabeNewelleyes.jpg

Forbes has rated Valve co-founder, Gabe Newell the 854th richest billionaire out of the 1226 known. Though this is just a pure estimation from Forbes.

Newell owns more than 50% of Valve, which means he's worth atleast $1.5 Billion if Steam is worth $3 Billion. Steam is known to have 40 million users. The estimate of $3 Billion is is also conservative as Valve keep their finances private.

According to me if anyone is worthy of being on this list, it is surely one of the members who is making PC gaming being revived.

Mass Effect 3 launch successful, biggest game so far of 2012

Many would have predicted that Mass Effect 3 will be one of the biggest games of this quarter easily, and probably the year too, but the game has been doing much better than even EA predicted.

Mass effect 3 has so far sold more more in the first week than SSX, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, UFC Undisputed 3 and Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning combined to date, a feat which is not small in any form.

The Game is currently holding an incredible Metacritic rating of 92 on the PC and the PS3, with a 94 rating for the Xbox 360.

Most gamers are currently saving the earth, are you?

There might very well be more. Heavy rain was only just a "demo" and was made into a super awesome game. Although it's not an officially announced game right now, i'll put my money on this also being a game.
