This year Ubisoft doesn't seem to be waiting a full year before outing it's next game in the series.

During a call with investors it was announced that the next game will release on 30 October 2012, releasing a month earlier than the usual November end Assassin Creed releases.

Ubisoft head Yves Guillemot said that the game will be "the biggest launch in Ubisoft history." He also said the game has spent 3 years in development.

Platform's haven't been announced yet.

Certain PS3 and VITA games to support cross-platform games

PS4.jpg

When Sony's new console releases across the globe on the 22nd of February, it has been made known by Sony that certain games like MotorStorm RC, Hustle Kings, Top Darts, WipEout HD and HD Fury DLC for WipEout 2048 and Capcom's, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 DLC on the PlayStation Store will be playable on both the PS VITA and the PS3 for the price of one.

This is a good move y Sony as they had earlier announced that players will be matched up to each other in the above games in the multiplayer, whether they played on either consoles.

In my opinion, this is a very good move by Sony, because if anyone had already bought the above games on the PS3, they do not need to rebuy it.

LA Noire 2 a possibility according to Rockstar

featured-1377-LA_Noire_Logo-2.jpg

Rockstar has made everyone know that a sequel to the 2011 game is still a possibility.

When Team Bondi, the studio which made LA Noire last year were closed last year by Rockstar, everyone (including me) had suspected that that was the end to that game series, but now that might not be true.

On a new Q&A on their Official Website site they have said :

Don’t count out the possibility of a new game in the L.A. Noire franchise in the future. We simply have not decided anything. We’re all very pleased with how that game turned out and are considering what the future may hold for L.A. Noire as a series. We don’t always rush to make sequels, but that does not mean we won’t get to them eventually – see Max and Red Dead for evidence of that – we have so many games we want to make and the issue is always one of bandwidth and timing.

Sony Boss would be Distracted by PS4 announcement in 2012

PS4.jpg

Sony America's president Jack Tretton doesn't want to make a Playstation 4 announcement this year. He said "I, quite frankly, would be very distracted if I had to be talking about next generation hardware this year."

He was also quoted by IGN, saying :

"In terms of when you talk about [the next generation] and when you announce it, it really depends on the health of the existing platform and the other things you have going on," Tretton remarked. "And right now, we're focused on PlayStation 3, and I've got another platform (PlayStation Vita) to get out the door in seven days, so I don't want to be thinking about trying to launch new technology anytime soon. I want to focus all our energy on our console business, which is really just hitting its stride, and Vita, which really deserves a dedicated push from us."

By the way, this almost means a PS4 announcement in 2013!

Alan Wake released this past week. It had earlier come out for the 360 exclusively on the 14th of May, 2010. Two years have gone by and now the game is now out on PC, and it looks Glorious!

Please visit here (

EA : Give us "18 to 2 years" to make Origin good

36064_10000140.png

There's a saying which says that Rome wasn't built in a day. It now seems like EA COO Peter Moore has turned that into years.

In a recent talk with Kotaku, Moore said that "If you go back and dust off the transcripts of when Steam first came out, it had the same reaction. People didn't like it.They provided, over the years –- to Gabe and the team's credit –- value to the gamer. Those first 12 months were very rocky."

He also went on to defend origin and said that "It got off to a rocky start for all the wrong reasons which were mostly inaccurate: accusations of spyware. The EULA… We were clearly focused on by some folks who said, 'We don't like this. How can we start picking things apart?' It's quieted down. I don't think you see the initial level of vitriol. It's one of those things where I would ask give us 18 months to two years. And if we sit here two years from now, start looking at it then."

I personally am not a huge fan of Origin as of right now, but I definitely feel that everything should be given a chance. And I'm sure better discount's would surely help!
