A new rumour has sprung up which is saying that a new xbox is being made by microsoft to be released in 2013. This new xbox 360 will be a stripped down version of the current xbox.

According to an anonymous leaker on Reddit (http://www.reddit.co...about/?sort=new), the stripped down xbox will be released somewhere in 2013 and it'll have a significantly lower price tag of only 100$

The post said :

"At some point after [the Xbox Lite], we'll see a Xbox Next, a true successor to the 360... Details about it are very hazy, except that, like the 360, it will do games for core-audiences and the same media apps as the other device, also with Kinect."

Information at this point is not enough, but let's hope we may know something about this in this year's E3.

Microsoft Investigating Xbox 360 Stolen Credit Card Detail Claims

360-2-1.png

According to some users, the Xbox 360 might be storing your credit card details somewhere on their server, making them exposed to the millions of internet users from all across the globe even if you have reset your console to factory settings. However, Microsoft have countered this theory by saying that this is not possible, and they're scaling a full fledged investigation over this matter.

Jim Alkove, general manager of security for Microsoft's game business said that :

"Xbox is not designed to store credit card data locally on the console, and as such seems unlikely credit card data was recovered by the method described, additionally, when Microsoft refurbishes used consoles we have processes in place to wipe the local hard drives of any other user data. We can assure Xbox owners we take the privacy and security of their personal data very seriously. We are conducting a thorough investigation into the researchers' claims. We have requested information that will allow us to investigate the console in question and have still not received the information needed to replicate the researchers' claims."

Sony's exclusive Adventure game, Journey - which had released on March 13 has become the fastest selling PSN game ever for them, surpassing all first and third part PSN games ever.

While Sony has still not revealed the game sale figures, it was surprising to see that a game with no guns has blazed into the consoles of many, and it has made a deep critical impact commercially.

Thatgamecompany’s Journey is currently holding a 92 rating on Metacritic, which is simply amazing. For people not knowing, Journey will be thatgamecompany’s last Sony exclusive game as they had a 3 game exclusive contract.

The PC version of Assassin's Creed III will be made to work the best with a controller - Ubisoft

Ubisoft Montreal's Creative Director, Alex Hutchinson had a talk with GameSpy in which he spoke that the PC version will be best played with a controller rather than a mouse and a keyboard.

According to him :

We’re definitely supporting PC, we love PC, but I think it’ll be PC with a controller. I don’t see us investing hugely in a mouse and keyboard setup. I think if you want to play on PC and you want to play Assassin’s Creed, you have a controller.

So According to Ubisoft, the best playing experience of playing Assassin's Creed 3 will only be had with a controller.
