Well. This happens to everyone, if one wants to buy a product ONLINE.

Internet is like a UNIVERSE. Unless you are not aware of Event Horizon, you will be lost into a BLACK HOLE. I hope this thread will shed some light on the online shopping's 'Event Horizon'.

Do you want to buy a 2GB pendrive or Mobile or TV or DSLR or Books or Whatever? We will follow these steps, atleast i do.

  1. Google for the Product.
  2. Find the online stores that offer the product @ best & cheap price
  3. Select one, READ THE REVIEWS about that site
  4. If satisfied, buy it.
  5. Else Go to step 3.
Everything we buy, we need some TRUST upon the one who sell the item - both Offline & Online. If you encounter lots of -ve reviews about a seller, you wont buy it. But not all can differentiate a Good seller & Bad seller from a group. A Satisfied customer is a best source of revenue.

A Good review can PROPEL the seller to Olympian Heights and
a bad review can PUSH the seller to the Hades.

In the post, i want our users to share YOUR online experiences with the seller/shops that you've encountered online. It will serve as a GOOD POST for the newbies, who are in dilemma of "Whether to buy a product from Seller A or Seller B? Seller A is of low reputation, but he offers more DISCOUNT. Seller B is of high reputation, yet he does'nt give anything".

Please share your experiences in this format.
  1. Seller name and the URL [If it's eBay, mention the seller name & shop.]
  2. Name of the product that you bought [product URL,optional]
  3. Price that you bought - whether it is acceptable or not
  4. Shipping & Delivery quality - whether the product arrived on time and in a good condition
  5. Behaviour of the seller, while replying to your queries till the delivery
  6. Overall satisfactory level - [Out of 5]
  7. Would you recommend this Seller to others or not?
  8. Additional comments on the Seller - [Purely, Optional]

I will share my experience first. My first online purchase was in eBay.

Seller name - http://myworld.ebay.in/techstuff_in1
Name of the product - Wacom Bamboo one
Price - 4k i guess. It was long back.
Shipping & Delivery quality - It was perfectly wrapped inside a cardboard box.
Behaviour of the seller, - N/A
Overall satisfactory level - [5 of 5]
Would you recommend this Seller to others or not? - Yes
Additional comments on the Seller - Nothing

We cant rate eBay as it comprises of individual sellers.

Name of the product - Sonata Watch
Price - 600
Shipping & Delivery quality - Packing was good. The watch was kept inside the box in the position it cant move, even if you drop.

Unfortunately, Letsbuy is acquired by flipkart; Period. :annoyed:
