Price updates from Ritchie street (Chennai)

even a 'person' cannot sneak in the place (route) you have shown  such is the crowd..

you can park a car opp. to casino theatre or khadi only if you have luck :bleh:

early in the morning you might be able to grab a slot I guess.

if you want an adventurously frustrating ride, enter the road between casino theatre and the bridge (the road goes into chindadripet) and take the second right turn (into wallers road).. I bet you cannot return back  In 2007 I was stuck in that maze called ritche st with an Indigo.. man never ever I went there with car again.

or just take an auto or some other transport, the hassle is much less.

You wont be able to drive into Ritchie street. There is parking on the side of the road opposite Casino theatre

Where exactly? Map would help :)

@DigitalDude Yea, am aware of the shortage of real estate on Ritchie Street - but I was just curious that since I hadn't explored the entire area, there just might be an alternative :D Every single time I went there, I struggled to park my 2 wheeler!

I was contemplating parking the car in Spencer Plaza and taking an auto from there, but the thieves [auto walas] would fleece me of any savings I make from the deal at Ritchie Street :(

Is Sethi Infotech reliable? I was planning to buy a laptop, and they have offered home delivery with COD. Should I take it? Quote I got is same as Delta.

^ I dont think you can find that here
Better, order from TE dealers

Wanna buy Altec Lansing VS2621 from Ritchie. Delta website says Rs.1650(VAT inclusive) Does anyone know about better pricing in any other stores? TIA :)

Check out the following stores
Samta Infotech (If you need a referral, PM me)
RC Automation
Mahavir Multimedia

I get better prices most times from these stores, than Delta. Their prices nowadays are generally little upwards. The difference is more in expensive items.

It was one store i used to visit frequently during my early days @ Ritchie
Now, i dont even know if this store exists

One word of caution:
Dont go to Krish Electronics - He is a shady dealer who might pass off grey stuff in guise of little cheap prices. I used to buy from this store, but once i found out this malpractise I stopped going there.

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

ITDepot prices are always much higher than Ritchie St. [ for most products]
But they have the best collection of products and brands you can get in Chennai
They would have everything from Lian-Li, scythe etc etc...Such products cant be found anywhere in Chennai except with them.

For mainstream products, go with Ritchie and check out the shops I have quoted to DA post
