Even after considering the high dollar rate, this is RIDICULOUS.
I Hope they come to their senses and price it right. Else, It would be the End of line for Apple India.
Importing it via Friends is 30-50K Cheaper in many cases So you may consider Importing.

Lol the prices you are mentioning are first of all mrp.
The 13 inch mbp had a mrp of 72,900 and it sell's at around 62 k and lower if you get it outside apple stores.
I expect the prices to be same as last year.maybe a 3 to 5 k market increase due to the dollar rate.nothing more.

Not bad :p In comparison, per today's rate, $1199 = 67610. Effectively 200 bucks cheaper in India :D

and BTW have you read any reviews, unbiased of course, they say its expensive, Not OVERPRICED...
(Small fact: an ips wielding FHD screen laptop of this size costs ~200$ more)

Not trying to start a war, but just compare it with this- SVS15116GN : S Series : VAIOâ„¢ Laptop & Computer : Sony India

First thing, resolution of MBP is seriously an overkill. 1080p is enough for 15"6. Adding a 256GB SSD - HDD = 10k (newly available for 212$ @ newegg).

Tell me how much VFM is the new MBP ?

might be .
And for the so called sony laptop. my friend bought and returned the s series in 4 hours flat. you know that had an i5 and much low powered graphics card. the heat causing, throttling and noisy fan operation.
btw, no common sensed reviewer has ever thought of comparing any windows laptop with the rmbp.

imp. I made a statetment of expensiveness and not about vfm. ok how could you know the difference since you said 1880 is overkill and compared with sony s....

Now.. 75K, 1.4L Etc are fine compared to the Price Released by Apple
Hopefully, we can see then for 60K in 2-3 months time, and old ones for 45-50K

You got to visit the macrumor forums then. People will virtually kill you if you badmouth apple there. I have never seen any forum as repetitive and filled with numerous redundant threads and same comments.
