You'd need a way better power supply if you are planning on using a HD5850. Also, I highly doubt if its possible to fit in a Phenom II 955/965 and a DDR2 based 125/140W TDP motherboard in 12,000.

i was suggested these configs from some friends :

a. Phenom 2 X4 955 + Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H
b. Phenom II X4 965 + Biostar TA790GXBE
c. phenom II x4 965 + biostar a785

How are these

And i can make it till 14k.
And yeah i will upgrade my PSU also while buying the 5850 :p

No need, turns out I had my pricing wrong about the processors. x_x

The second combo sounds great, although I'd recommend you to get the 955. Apparently the 965 overheats, but otherwise too the money saved can be used in your next upgrade to 4GB RAM or a good CPU cooler now, that would be necessary given that you'd be using a HD5850.

You are spending 14k on a upgrade and not getting a DDR3 mobo!!
PhenomII X4 955 BE (3.2GHz, 8M, AM3) - Rs.8100~
MSI 785G-E53 - Rs.5500
Total: Rs.13,600

Sell your current RAM. As it is a corsair it will surely fetch you 1.8-2k in TE market as new ones cost 2.3-2.5k~

Get a 2GB 1333MHz DDR3 Corsair RAM for Rs.2950. This would be a much better upgrade as in the future when you upgrade RAM you will pay less.

Thanks for the help guys :)

Now a stupid question: Whats better igp of these biostar mobo's or a 8500GT.

If the igp is better than i can sell the 8500GT otherwise i will keep it till i get myself a 5850.
