No problems if you go with AMD, but how did you come to the conclusion that AMDs are always best for gaming? There are different "best CPU for gaming" at every price segment.

For your budget, Core i5 + 5850 combo seems perfect. If you want to stick to AMD, you should look for PhenomII x4 965BE + 5850. But, power consumption is a bit more and performance is non-gaming applications is a bit less compared to i5. However, it does work out a bit cheaper.

Also, not sure about this, but you might have to manually set the timings if you choose to use RipJaws with AMD. (Not a negative, just a heads-up).

CM 690 advanced is kinda of a moded cm 690 there is very little value adds between that and the existing 690 and most of those additions can be done very easily. so suggest you use the cm 690

A complete AMD config:-

Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz B.E. @ 7.9k
ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO @ 6.5k
Transcend 2*2=4GB DDR3 1333MHz C9 @ 4.4k
Cooler Master Centurion 690 @ 4.4k
Logitech Multimedia @ 0.8k
Logitech MX518 @ 1.5k
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB @ 4k
LG 22x DVD @ 1.1k
Corsair VX550W @ 5.2k
VTX3D HD5850 1GB GDDR5 @ 15.8k
Acer V233H 23.6" FULL HD LCD Monitor @ 10.6k

TOTAL = Rs. 61,500
