Recommend a Phone - Budget Rs.10-15k

Budget is MAX 15k.

Preferably cheaper. Around 10-12k is better.

What I want is...
  1. Great looking phone..
  2. Good sound quality..
  3. 3.5mm Jack for normal earphones is required..
  4. Preferably, a large screen..
  5. Any brand is fine. Ofcourse, sticking to the usual Moto/Nokia/SE.
  6. Must be quite slim. No bulky crap, etc.


  7. Must be bought with bill. So, no grey market prices please.
  8. Require Memory Slot. 2GB+ support preffered.

I was really considering the MotoRokr E6. For its price, its a great looking phone, audio quality is really decent. Plus its a PDA, and its sleek.

would recommend the n73music edition.. bt its like 16.5k... its an awesome phone.. with everything u require... go for it if you can stretch ur budget...
 
N91...hmm well if you can live with those small buttons...

Else the choices are in order of increasing prices I hope:

1. Nokia 6233 - 10k with all that u need

2. Sony W810 - 11.8k not sure of the bundled MSPD capacity

3. Nokia 5700 - 12.2k with 512MB card

4. Moto Ming - 12.3k not sure of mem card bundled

5. P990 - Out cause u need with bill

6. Nokia N73 ME - 16.2k with all that u need.

7. SE K790i - 16.5k i think....64mb card included and a damn expensive M2 mem card u'll have to buy

pardon the poorer then poor english, tired today..sleepy
 
I think the Moto rokr e6 suits ur need to the T.......;)

It has a touchscreen, is slim...and decent enuf for music playback...i wud have suggested the P990i too, but since u dont want a bulky phone and tht too with bill, so no point in goin for it..;)
 
SE w810- has all you want but doesnt have a large screen.

nokia 5700- maybe a little bulky for you (actually its not that bulky) and some like the looks and some dont. i personally like the way it looks.

motorokr- as you said is a decent phone.

n73me would have been perfect but is a little off your budget.
 
Friend has the Rokr, its slooww :|

I'd put my money on the N91, or as someone said, the M600i with a screenguard. Use it happily with your fingers like the iPhone :p (which is what i have been doing since the iPhone launch :p)

Lol...i've been doing the same with my p990i since i bought it..:p rarely ever use the stylus...only thing is, it works better if u have nails..just a gentle touch is what it needs..cos tapping with finger tips doesnt always press the right button..:p
 
Roker E6 slow no way. it is much responsive and loads applications pretty easy. I can say this as I am using one. It is slow only when browsing through the Real player songs list. rest this is a good cell for anyone who can stay away from Symbian.
 
^ LOL, okay each tho his own since speed is purely relative ;)

But a PDA Style Touchscreen Phone without Symbian or WM is like a Forum without Spam :lol:

Go for the SE Walkman series w810i for around 12K or w610i for 13.5K
 
What do you guys think about the K790i? ..

3.2MP Cam right? People say the flash is really good too?..

Also, it has a Converter cable to a 3.5mm Jack available?
 
Converter cable is the same as the ones used in K750 and W800...

Cam is really good...no high res vid recording and no Symbian are the 2 main disdvantages of the phone...
