Graphic Cards Recommend graphics card for 12k

I got this config day before yesterday

AMD X2 5200+ at 2.6Ghz
2GB Patriot 800 Mhz
160GB SATA 7200
on a Asus M2A-VM
A Cooler Master 390 Watt PSU

And getting a Dell 22"

Now m thinking which GFX to get as i have my budget till 12K.
Can get the card from US by KMD so open to all kind of cards till about $230 or 12K.
I want to run the games at full resolution of the monitor and dont wana decrease the resolution though can compromise on the effects a bit.
 
3870 or 3850......if u wanna stick to AMD ATI...

or 9600 gt....it will be lower than your budget..... 10k max

otherwise 8800 gt is a no brainer if u wanna follow the herd....

with your CM390W, nothing above 8600GT is gonna work for too long. and 8600GT can't play games at 22" monitor's native res.
 
ok i didn't see tht 390 PSU...get a better PSU.... 450 corsair or a 600 coolermaster.... same price....
 
altho i've become a vry big fan of 88gt n score it over 96gt...but i wud say u go for 96gt n CM 500w smps....n ur good to get som awesome eye candy.
 
ur getting a 22". for games at that res, u need all teh GPU power u can get :eek:hyeah:

n since ur budget is in range, just get the 8800GT with ur eyes closed :)
 
bro wit 400w u wud v walk jus about on the line...if u go for stuff lik 96gt....but believe me u don want freze ups in the middle of som game or som thin....plz plz u need to step up in ur psu....if u ve jus bought it....request the dealer to uplift it to 500w by pumpin some 1000 bucks...
