Reliable Hospital in Pune

One of my friend is facing some problem in his ear. He is hearing some mild sound in his ear. He went to one of the hospital and doctor completely seemed to be bogus.
He did not check ear at all. He neither went for cleaning of ear. He said that you will have to undergo some hearing tests and if something doesn't comes up, will go for MRI scan :annoyed:
I am not a doctor but I think that doctor should first check ear and go for regular cleaning rather than recommending MRI straight away.


I see that many people on TE are from pune so please recommend some reliable hospital where my friend can go for treatment.
My friend is in magarpatta.
 
May be you are rite..I am also not sure but heard good things about this hospital..

there was some good ear doctor near City Pride, Satara road, who treated my brother.. will get the details and give them to u :)
 
it depends on the nearby location. Just for ENT specialist u dont need a big hospital. And yes opinion / news about doctors in Pune is true. Unless you visit them at least twice with consultation fees paid each time (generally 300 Rs for ENT) they wont touch u. I needed ENT for myself and was expecting ear canal to be cleaned thoroughly. Thats the reason i went to doctor. But i was just prescribed ear drops which i knew anyway. So wasted that visit. This was experience from 2nd ENT i tried. And i am in Pune for 27 yrs now, so not a new place.
You can try justdial and check their feedback to shortlist, becoz the ones i tried were/are well known and recommended by others.
