I had purchased a Samsung 840 Evo 120 GB from Prime ABGB last month. This has a 3 year manufacturer warranty as per Prime.
Did not see any online warranty check so I called up call center who gave me the service center number who said that Samsung don't provide warranty for SSD and need to contact retailer for warranty. They said that Samsung only provide warranty for their HDD thru Seagate. The call center had also said thay they will call back within a day with a definitive answer but they have not called back
Has anyone had to RMA any Samsung SSD and if so what is the procedure. I dont need to RMA now but would like to know if it will be problematic in future
