Storage Solutions Samsung DVD Writer Problem

Hello everybody,
Last week I bought Samsung DVD writer SH-222BB/IDDS from Lamington Road, Mumbai.
There is no problem in reading my old dvd disc which I burned in my old IDE DVD Drive.
But this new Samsung DVD Writer is giving me problem while writing data on DVD.
Suppose If I burn 5 Movie files only first 2 files are properly burned and after that remaining movies gives error.
I have burned around 5 DVD to check whether DVD is having any problem but all them having same issue.
I have burned lots and lots of dvds in my old writer but this new writer is giving errors.
I don't burn disc at full capacity. I always keep space of around 300mb/500mb in every DVD to be on safe side but even though this new writer is giving error.
Can anyone help me in this matter?
Is the writer is the one having problem? or Software?
 
no i didn't tried on another writer cause that's the only writer i have as of now.
last night burned a DVD brand name "National" and it burned perfectly using Imgburn.
So i guess it was either bad DVD or Nero 8 having problem.
 
It seems moserbaer DVD or this particular batch isnt compatible with your writer. Did you try writing data to the same disk using IMGBURN ?. Did you get any error message after burn completion ?
