Samsung Galaxy Beam release date set for July in Europe

The Samsung Galaxy Beam was announced first in February at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year, and the phone seems certain to launch very soon in Europe.

The Samsung Galaxy Beam comes with n in-built projector which is capable of projecting HD images onto flat surfaces with a maximum screen length/size of up to 50 inches. The emitter is capable of projecting images onto a huge range of surfaces at 15 Lumines, which is just about bright enough so that you can use the Beam's projector in the day.

The rest of the Galaxy Beam's specification is decent too and it includes a 4 inch touch screen TFT, a 1 GHz dual-core processor and 768MB of internal RAM. Also, it has a 5 Mega Pixel camera , a relatively large 2000 mAh battery, 8GB of internal memory and runs on Android, 2.3 Gingerbread. This projector should make the Galaxy Beam popular with businessmen and multi-media fans who can use the device to watch movies or play games.

You can watch the preview from PhoneArena of how the phone (and it's projector) works below.
